Itinerario
Day 1: Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah – Dades Valley (6-Hour Drive)
Embark on an exciting journey through eastern Morocco, traveling in comfort in a modern, air-conditioned minibus. Your guide will pick you up from your Marrakech hotel at 7:15 AM and escort you to the departure point. We’ll traverse the Atlas Mountains before descending to the stunning Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah.
Ait Ben Haddou is an impressive complex of six kasbahs within a fortified city, offering a captivating glimpse into the past with its ancient walls, desert nomads, and historic trading routes. After a guided tour, lunch will be served in the Kasbah.
Next, we’ll visit Ouarzazate, known as "The Gateway to the Desert." This city has been the backdrop for iconic films like The Mummy and Lawrence of Arabia. After a satisfying lunch at a local café, we continue toward Merzouga, our destination for the day, where the real desert adventure awaits.
Riding camels through the golden sands of Erg Chebbi Dunes will make you feel like you’ve stepped into a scene from Lawrence of Arabia. After this unforgettable camel trek, we will arrive at the Berber desert camp, where you can choose to walk or ride your camel through the dunes.
