Itinerary
Day 1: Douz – Sahara Desert – Tembaine
Following an early pick-up from the hotel and drop off at the meeting point with the experienced guide. After a full briefing, your adventure starts with an amazing view, changing from lands of green palms to dunes of golden sand. In the middle of the desert, you will have the lunchtime in a Bedouin traditional restaurant. Soon after the break, continue riding through the huge charming dunes and head through Jebil National Park on an African-style wildlife safari, looking out for Arabian gazelles, Fennecs, oryx.
Our guide always knows how to impress, so he has a surprise for you… Later you will arrive at the camping, with a cup of tea you can watch how the chef cooks the meal on an open fire. Then, all that’s left to do is to feast on your 4-course dinner under the stars. Like the activities at the camp, the dishes are mostly traditional Bedouin specialties.
After your meal, sit around the bonfire and gaze up at the stars, and then make your way to your Arabic tent — complete with comfortable mattress, pillows, and blanket — nestled inside the camp. Settle in and enjoy sleeping overnight in the heart of the desert!
Day 2: Tembaine – Sahara Desert – Douz
Wake to a beautiful sunrise in the morning and to the scent of strong Arabic coffee brewing and to see your breakfast being cooked and enjoy the fascinating sunrise on top of golden dunes, taking amazing photos and having memorable memories. Then, feast on traditional breakfast bread. After your breakfast, meet your guide and bid your friends in the desert camp a fond farewell before traveling back to Douz aboard your Quad bike. Then, finish your experience with a drop-off at your hotel.
